Pretty much everyone knows or suspects MK will enter the portal. The question is timing. MK delivered the majority of Signature Wins for this team over the last 2 years. Playing as a true freshman, he got thrown into the fire. He played hurt, because, frankly, we had nobody else. He led us to the win over Florida in the Gasparilla Bowl. He got benched in favor of JRP. He came in and led us to wins over Cincinnati and Memphis. Gus benched him again. So my question is, does he enter the portal as soon as the USF game is over, after the AAC Championship Game (assuming we get in), or after the bowl game. At this point I am not sure. Leaving before the AAC or Bowl game would be a big middle finger to Gus for the way he was treated, but my gut says he stays until after the Bowl Game, because that is the kind of kid he is.
