D2 Exit

First game this year as I’ve moved out of town, but was the exit path new for those coming from D2 lot? I needed to go south towards 50/408 and would normally turn right, but was forced to exit campus by the fire station and had to go all the way into Oviedo and then work my way across backroads… took me nearly 45 min to make it back to 50…. Why can’t we turn right out of that lot?

UF tickets for sale - SOLD

I now have friends coming in to South FL next weekend and my wife leaves for 3 weeks on 10/8 and she really doesn’t want me going next weekend. It is just not worth the fight at this point.

I have 2 tickets
Sec 49, Row 81, seats 26 and 27

These are isle seats in the UCF section.

With Ticketmaster fees etc they cost me just over $100 each. Will sell at cost. OBO.

If I stick these up on Ticketmaster a Gator fan will
Probably snatch them. Would rather that not happen.

Thoughts on the game

I hate 2:30 p.m. home kickoffs. Same game time as Baylor debacle last year.

I didn't like that so many UCF fans sold their tickets to Colorado fans, either.

Not saying either factor affected the outcome.

UCF left too many points on field on the field for the second game in a row.

UCF simply is not built to come from behind against high-powered passing offenses.

The Knights needed a miracle to beat TCU trailing big late. They must 'stay on track' to win consistently n the Big 12. UCF has to come away with points in the red zone.

UCF could not run the ball consistently between the tackles. That's disastrous for Gus's offense.

UCF tried to get too cute on defense early with the front 7.

Colorado found a running game and wasn't one dimensional. UCF adjusted in the second half, but it was too little, too late.

Colorado's defensive ends had incredible games.

Shedeur Sanders is a future NFL quarterback and was still the second best player on the field.

The No. 1 factor that stuck out to me is Colorado had profoundly more speed at the skill positions than UCF.

Playcalling TCU v Colorado

There was a visible difference between the play calling against TCU and Colorado when we got behind.

We stuck to the gameplan at TCU.

No idea what happened yesterday. It’s almost as if the first interception KJ threw- the whole game went awry.

He ran KJ more than Harvey. Why?

Inside the five on the first possession— after we intercept Sanders — why is he not running Harvey?

It’s almost like he’s thinking “that’s what he’ll expect, yes, so I’ll do this weird shit instead”

Again and again.

Colorado has not allowed a 100-yard rusher this season.

Ucf Football GIF by UCF Knights

UCF leads the nation in rushing offense. The Knights have the nation's 5th-ranked rushing defense.

The latter statistic is misleading, however, for two reasons: (1) UCF opponents are averaging 2.58 yards per carry, which is really, really good, but not necessarily "elite," and (2) the UCF defense has faced only 76 rushing attempts--third lowest nationally--because NOBODY UCF FACES RUNS THE DAMN BALL!

Point in case: Colorado ranks 129 out of 134 teams in rushing offense, averaging 68.8 yards per game on just 26.5 rushing attempts per game.

In fact, Utah (29), Cincinnati (33), Arizona State (34), and West Virginia (50) are the only top 50 rushing offenses on UCF's schedule.

💩talking on the mic during games

Went to the FAU game this evening. Second half we sat on the visiting sideline which is also part of the FAU student section. I kept hearing someone talking 💩 to the Wagner sideline. At first I thought it was just a loud drunk fan be it wasn’t around us. And so could see some players talking back so I was confused who was talking. This went on for about 10-15 minutes until we got up to leave and I could see some speakers in the front row and the sound coming from it. The guy must have been the student hype guy because he would lead stuff on third down. But it was odd that that went on continuously. My little ones were looking at me like where is this coming from? Maybe I’m getting old but it made me uncomfortable.

Anyways, we saw a burrowing owl in a tree in the parking lot and stuff. What name would you give it?
