2020 Democrat hopefuls

Fab’s right. End of debate.

Everybody calls our blowhard President Donald John Trump and questions his citizenship.
I’m guessing that there would be more if Trump’s dad was a foreign national, say Italian or German, was anti-colonialist, and Trump spent a good part of his youth at anti-American schools abroad. Especially if Trump hadn’t been born in Queens where you’d think they kept excellent records and was rather listing Hawaii as a birthplace, where the records keeping was dubious.

With so many people grasping at anything they can throw at Trump and after this ridiculous Russia hoax being perpetuated for 2 years, can you actually state with a straight face that someone like Rachel Maddow wouldn’t be railing on Trump’s birthplace nightly if there were any way to doubt it?

Holy hell, there's a lot to unpack here.

This dumbass still thinks in his heart of hearts that B. Hussein Obama was born in Africa.

Hawaiian birth records back in 1961 were dubious? Yeah, it wasn't even a Sta..er, it had ONLY been a U.S. State for two years!!!

And I imagine the Hawaiian newspapers were dubious too since two of them announced Obama's birth at the time.

What a sham, right sk8? :)

The whole reason this conversation went off on a tangent is because people were saying conservatives were unfairly labeled racists and we have a dude on the board still claiming Obama might have been born in Africa in 2019. I think the mystery of why conservatives were labeled racists has been solved.

You found nothing problematic with a congresswoman hurling anti-Semitic slurs aimed at American Jews and yet you still peddle this bullshit.

If he's a "racist" then you're a raging anti-Semite. And the case is much stronger for you being an anti-Semite and a racist than anything you're hurling his way.

There's no evidence that Obama was born in Africa except the color of his skin.

Whatever logical obstacle course you ran through to somehow link me to anti-semitism on this I couldn't even make sense of but it seems insane.

When a woman says that Jewish dark money controls our government and American Jews have dual allegiances, and you say "so what?", then you're endorsing anti-Semitism. It's really not hard.

Awww, how sweet. 85 whips out his tried-and-true, "yeah, b-b-but what about you guys?" defense.

Anti-Semitic slurs IS problematic, but as we discussed recently in another thread, labeling someone as "anti-Semitic" because that person questions our level of support for Israel is disingenuous at best.

Nevertheless, it's truly heartwarming to see 85 so worked up against racism in politics. :)

I could give a rat’s ass at this point and it didn’t even matter then. Hawaii had 2 forms of birth certificate and didn’t maintain the original doctor-signed long form certificate. Which gave some people wiggle room to believe.

You’re just deflected from your own participation in the biggest conspiracy theory hoax ever pushed on the American people.

I’ve already addressed you lying about this issue. You seem intent to continue lying so go ahead.

Last time someone called Fab a racist he said I can't be racist I'm married to a minority.

That type of logic doesn't hold up because I hate piece of shit baby boomers but I have parents.

Plenty of sexist assholes are married to women.

Using 1 relationship in someone's life to eliminate them from examination of their actions is exactly the same thing as saying you have a black friend.
Ummmm...you can't choose your parents, dipshit.

I find it interesting that there's been a mini-backlash going on in the Democrat party now against Buttigieg because 'a number of highly qualified female and minority candidates are getting shoved aside for another white guy.' There has also been some bristling about him being 'the smartest person in the race' when the field includes Elizabeth Warren who is a former Harvard Law Professor.

Regarding Warren, she may be intelligent but she doesn't hold a candle to Buttigieg when it comes to campaigning. The difference in Buttigieg is not his intelligence but in the mature, respectful, and friendly way he displays it on the campaign trail.

Also it's hard to paint Mayor Peter as "just another white guy" when he's the first openly gay candidate for President. I may be wrong but given the discussions I've had here, I have a sneaking suspicion that Gay people in American are not automatically accepted and given any free rides.
Buttplug groped me and i am a muslim transgender illegal immigrant.

Once this hits the press the dems will canibalize buttplugs campaign

lol here we go again. Socialists, communists, cop killers, anti-Semites; the Democrats have 'em all this year.

The top D candidates are going to attend this gathering of extremists this week and the whole thing began by reciting words from a woman who killed a cop, broke out of prison, and escaped to Communist Cuba where she lives as a committed communist and fugitive of justice.

Top 2020 Democrat candidates are taking the stage this week at the 2019 ‘We The People Summit’ in Washington, DC. As the event began on Monday, there were a series of opening remarks from participants and organizations, and Jamal Watkins of the NAACP led the crowd in a chant.

“It is our duty to fight for our freedom.
It is our duty to win.
We must love each other and support each other.
We have nothing to lose but our chains.”

These possibly familiar words are from convicted cop-killer Assata Shakur (aka Joanne Chesimard). In this famous quote, Shakur is herself referencing Karl Marx, who famously wrote “Let the ruling classes tremble at a Communistic revolution. The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win.”

I saw this too and was going to post it but I didn't think it was worth it. Absolutely infuriating though. Assata Shakur escaped from custody and fled to Cuba where she was provided asylum and has resided since. There should have been no normalization with Cuba without her return to custody. She was a prime suspect in a number of forcible felonies including bank robberies, kidnapping, and murder. She got lucky on another murder count when the judge ruled the state took too long to bring it to trial and dismissed the charges. There were, of course, the claims by the defense of racism, wasn't doing nothing, didn't have a weapon, etc. But this woman was the leader of a violent domestic terrorist group and is in no way someone that anyone should be embracing in a civil society.

Yet so many on the left are enthralled with her? She's been embraced by the Woman's March, her writings have been trumpeted at numerous events by Black Lives Matter, and she's now being raised up at the beginning of a conference that will feature many of the top Democratic candidates for President (Cory Booker, Julián Castro, Beto O'Rourke, Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Jay Inslee and Kirsten Gillibrand. I think we should follow the current media practice and make them disavow the comments).

How has this murderous felon been so mainstreamed by the Democrat party? Although, I guess it's not surprising given the rising normalization of Che Guevara by so many on the left and in Hollywood.

I always lol when dumbass mouth breathers celebrate the liberal roots of the Republican party. Please tell me more about your big wins prior to 1920.

Party of Lincoln!
And everyone who understands what "liberal" means lol's when Democrats want to control free speech, control the right to bear arms, artificially control the economy, then call themselves "liberal."

Thank you for pushing more people to President Trump's side.

The women’s march is as bad as it gets. Look no further than the founding members, anti American, anti-Semitic and racists. Yeah women’s march.

Former Vice President Joe Biden says that he'll cure cancer if he's elected president.

Speaking at a campaign stop in Ottumwa, Iowa, on Tuesday he discussed losing loved ones before making his promise.

"A lot of you understand what loss is and when loss occurs, you know that people come up to you and tell you 'I understand' if you lose a husband, a wife, a son, a daughter, a family member," he said. "That's why I've worked so hard in my career to make sure that — I promise you if I'm elected president, you're going to see the single most important thing that changes America, we're gonna cure cancer."

Honestly I'd kiss the ground he walked on if this actually came to pass but promising this is just ridiculous. And given how vague this is, it comes across as saying he's going to cure all forms of cancer in feasibly 8 years. I mean...…..

remember how mad Democrats were when the Republicans took their slaves away lmao
The Democratic party has always been the populist party. They will swing where people tell them to.

They were alleged pro-American family when racism was most popular and ignored.
Now they are alleged anti-racists when everything is racism and constantly tracked.

And despite popular assumption, racism was rampant in northern cities, and access to property could be worse than the south.
There just weren't as many African-Americans in voting districts back then, especially urban, so they didn't have to play games on voting.

The Republican party was founded on ballot access and a set of values.
That was 'radical' when it was against slavery and racism.

When African-Americans were able to finally get ballot access in the south, they started radically changing the parties too.
And as Republicans gained seats in the south, thanx to African-American voters, that's when the Southern Strategy came about.

The US media has documented it differently, saying it was a Democratic Congress, when it was only a Democratic President (Johnson).
Even both JFK and RFK had a lot of issues, because it wasn't popular until the issues in Alabama were caught live by ABC.

There's no evidence that Obama was born in Africa except the color of his skin.
