2020 Democrat hopefuls

When all is said and done, the election will hinge on who the American public sees as the most trustworthy and honorable man, Trump or Biden. We'll certainly hear all kinds of Hunter sh*t. But Hunter isn't running for President. And for every Hunter, there's a Don Jr.
so if trump win will you admit that trump is more trustworthy and honorable man than biden?

Well I'll be damned. A smoked-filled back room job, huh?

And here I thought the people in South Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Arkansas, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Mass, and Maine voted for Biden. Guess I've been watching too much fake news, huh goodknightfl?*

nope, they voted, The sheeple voters followed the party elitist lead. once Obama got involved, it was a done deal. Mayor Pete and Klo backed out as they were told, and endorsed Biden. That was the boost he needed.
The Republicans tried the same thing in 2016 but the voters ignored them.

What this proves is that the republican party is the actual populist-workers party and that the democrats are authoritarian statists.

i cant wait for the general public to tune into the national debates in aug/sept/oct. people will realize he is losing his mental capacity.
This is a game changer. A deal breaker. Hardcore democrats are trying to overlook it and explain it, but it won’t work. People are noticing it

As Bernie Sanders Pushed for Closer Ties, Soviet Union Spotted Opportunity

Previously unseen documents from a Soviet archive show how hard Mr. Sanders worked to find a sister city in Russia when he was a mayor in the 1980s. Moscow saw a chance for propaganda.

lol

My favorite is how he was praising the USSR in 1988 and 3 years later it collapsed. Great system Bernie, great system.

ELIZABETH WARREN’S DECISION TO STAY IN THE RACE UNTIL RIGHT AFTER SUPER TUESDAY MAY HAVE HANDED JOE BIDEN THE NOMINATION
by Kevin Ryan

As I wrote yesterday, the sudden decision by the establishment/“moderate” candidates to drop out right before Super Tuesday drove their voters to Joe Biden, and completely turned around the election.

But what if Elizabeth Warren had responded by also dropping out right before Super Tuesday and endorsing Bernie? Assuming most of her supporters switched to Bernie, that would likely have flipped the advantage right back to Bernie.

Using the actual vote numbers from Tuesday’s elections, I calculate that Bernie would have won Texas, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Maine, California, Utah, Colorado, Vermont, and even Oklahoma (though that state would have been close).

As it was, Warren stayed in the race, dividing the progressive vote in the process, and Bernie only won California, Utah, Colorado, and his home state of Vermont.

And no, Mike Bloomberg would not have dropped out and endorsed Biden before Super Tuesday. Bloomberg’s entire campaign (and half a billion dollars of his own money) was geared toward winning on Super Tuesday.

Thus Elizabeth Warren’s decision to stay in the race cost Bernie the momentum and may have handed the nomination to Joe Biden.

Calculations for delegates awarded based on DNC rules, here:
https://www.270towin.com/content/thresholds-for-delegate-allocation-2020-democratic-primary-and-caucus

IF Warren had dropped out prior to super Tuesday approximate votes:
Bernie - 782
Biden - 634

Actual:
Bernie - 641
Biden - 713

It's pretty amazing how weak this field of democrats ended up being, particularly with how big it was.

This assumption is wrong though given new polls out today. They only have WArren supporters breaking for Bernie by like a 30/25 margin over Biden. The assumption they'd all flip to Sanders is wrong.

Biden will have this sealed up fairly quickly.

What happens if Biden gets the coronavirus and falls ill sometime in the next 7 months? With all of the rallies and personal interactions he has it's a very real possibility.

What happens if Trump gets it? He's fat as **** and snorts adderall he won't make it. At least if Biden gets it we have other candidates ready to step in.

That's a fair question. I can't imagine much would change on the ticket because we already have an established VP. They'd probably just keep going like they have been. With Biden, he probably needs to chose carefully with his VP pick because they would be the defacto nominee in his place in this scenario. Short of Bernie, nobody in the democrat party has garnered much support so it would be like running a primary and general election at the same time.

I wonder if they shouldnt do more VP debates this cycle. We've never been in a situation where the likelihood of a VP taking over has ever been this high.

Remember when I mentioned presidential age
months ago? It’s reality now.

I've heard the Bernie has completely bailed on Mississippi and is now focusing all his efforts in Michigan.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the Democratic race will be essentially over after next Tuesday's Michigan results come in.

you are probably right but i hope you are wrong. i want bernie to stick around as long as possible.

Well, I'll be damned--I didn't expect this from you!

Who knew you were a closet Castro-loving, Bernie Bro Socialist??!?

Easy victory regardless :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

We will see who’s laughing in November when you have 4 more years of max TDS, right guys?
Yeah, what could I possibly be thinking??!?

The vast majority of American voters love the idea of keeping a polarizing, self-centered, corrupt, lying, Russian-tool for President for four more years. There's no way that people outside of his Minion Base would NOT vote for your guy, right Ucfmikes?*

You’re obviously losing your mind like Biden. Delusional

Russia! Russia! Russia! :flush:

Trump had more people voting in the Primary than all the Democratic voters combined.
It was irrelevant for him

Additionally, the Town Hall just got record ratings

Nothing to see here, right guys? [roll]

What's delusional is actually believing that Americans outside of Trump's diehard base are going to vote to keep him. Why in God's name would they do that???!?

Because most Americans don’t have TDS

Thank GOD!
