These polls are hillarious but atlas intel and rasmussen have trump +2 nationally which means he wins every swing state and probably virginia. Those were also the two polls in 2016/20/22 that nailed it.
People forget the Electoral College exists. With far more red states than blue, it's not unlikely that Trump will win, all while losing the popular vote by 1%.
I know people who don't benefit from the Electoral College hate it, and I'm not against changing it. But if we changed it, it would have to be the Big Cities v. Rural Areas, instead of the Little States v. Big States. We'd also have to include and increase African and Native American representation in it too.
But the Electoral College is also why Trump lost in 2020, and that should have been the end-of-story. It exists for that very reason ... when any
'controversy' exists, the Electoral College was purposely designed to say who the winner is, regardless. And Trump lost the support of people like Rand when he didn't accept it.
Even Hillary openly questioned the Electoral College too, especially as
'conscious electors' voted against her, and their state, in 2016, as a
'backlash' for Hillary, and the DNC,
'pressuring' even
'threatening' electors to vote against their state, against Trump. People forget that. The DNC always
'seeds the first doubt,' and then the GOP maximizes it 2-4 years later.
Hyperbole begets hyperbole ... Fox News was inevitable as the Big 3 increasingly turned DNC mouthpiece. Just like Trump was inevitable as the DNC went from being pro-freedom Liberal to pro-totalitarian, worse-than-W, Progressive.
The Electoral College should always exist for this reason. But, again, I'm not against changing it to better reflect today. Just like I'm not against turning the alleged Black National Anthem into the new, National Anthem for everyone. Even the religious right should all for it, if they would actually read the lyrics.
But, alas, I'm the guy that
'can see both sides,' and I also
'call out hypocrisy' on both all the same.
