Delicious Bull Tears Mega Thread

They are a SMALL handful of spots higher than UCF in the US News and World Report rankings. They were also named an EMERGING Preeminent (not actually Preeminent) school by the Florida higher education system...before such designations were done away with. The one and only thing that got them that status before UCF was they have a much larger endowment than UCF...something UCF's new President has said will be a priority to improve.

Them acting like they are B10 worthy with the most prominent schools in the country is the very definition of delusional. 🤣 🤣 🤣
The BIG 10 is the 2nd most financially lucrative conference. They will pull a successful member from the ACC/PAC12/Big12 before they pull a bottom feeder with no fans from CUSA 4.0.

Yep, after seeing several rounds of realignment, the pecking order used has been the one constant. And only the delusional superiority usf has in their Forest Gump level IQs compels them to think they are special.

They are a bad program, a bad team, and have no fan base....yeah of course they are next up for the B10 and SEC.

We should win an award for our social media team.

So, USF also had to sign a 2 for 1 with Louisville to get them on their schedule. I thought their 2 for 1 was just for the top tier teams.

Yes. We signed a 2-for-1 deal with them a couple years ago. First game of the series is this year, they come to Tampa in 2024 and we go back up there 2030.

Yea if I remember correctly we signed the 1 for 1 around the same time they signed a 2 for 1. People were joking about it.

I love that the cows are flexing over a ranking system that was made up a month ago and means nothing because there are no transfer deadlines.

And then what happens if they do go deep into debt; then FAU gets the call up during next realignment that they are positive will include them. It will be the end of their program. It was NOT a good day for USF when FAU got the AAC invite. A program on the rise willing to invest in the program located in the state of Florida. USF has one of those attributes. FAU will bypass USF in the near future.
Did you see all the FAU fans hitting the USF boards talking about becoming in-conference rivals?! OMG ... talk about that 'epiphany' moment for them!

This is their logic:
We've inspired them to build an OCS because ours is a big part of what got us invited to the Big12.

Any modest stadium can get the job done...

But they'd rather not have one if it can't be better than ours. Lol.

It's more important to them to beat us on a facility than it is to join a better conference.

Just stay your a**es in the AAC.

UCF built a downtown campus and a Lake Nona Campus with their fundraising efforts. The endowment will come in time when they stop trying to expand the footprint and focus on putting money raised toward the endowment.

To raise money for an endowment, UCF needs more staff for it on a college/school level. It’s full time work for a team of people competing for large donations. It’s also very competitive to get the best staff in this field.

You guys should know better than to listen to anything the G5 Drools over in St Pete say about the size of their endowment. It doesn’t matter how big it is if you don’t know how to use it, and obviously, it hasn’t gotten them invited to the big dance. 🤣

One day UCF will definitely transition to saving instead of investing. I also want the endowment to increase for the stability it can provide.

We all do, but ...

USF’s is over $600 million now. Higher than FSU. Ours if in the $170 million range. It’s not like FAU hasn’t been expanding and theirs is higher than ours.
And yet ... it's nowhere near the Big 10 in the Top 16 overall (as of 2020) ...

1. Michigan $12 B
2. Northwestern $11 B
6. Ohio State $5.2 B
7. Penn State $4.2 B
9. Minnesota $3.7 B
11. Wisconsin $3 B
12. Michigan State $3 B
13. Illinois $2.6 B
14. Purdue $2.5 B
16. Indiana $2.4 B
