Delicious Bull Tears Mega Thread

It's funny how their board makes it next to impossible to post there. I'm lookin to blast them with some reality.

Their moderators are super strict, delete all negative comments And get really butthurt when any of their people speak positively of UCF. All things that feed into their own delusion when you are only allowed usf propaganda.

Like I don't even know how to reply, or post, or create a new account. It's like Russian clampt down over there.

F'em

And this guy is basically one of the only few on their board who lives in reality…

Saw this on the expansion board. This week we need the following to happen:
1. ND gets a big pay raise from NBC to stay independent ($40/45 mil a year).
2. Whatever is left of the PAC raids the Big12 with BYU, Hou, KU, OSU, and TT. Eight schools will be left.
3. The Big 12 backfills with USF, Memphis, Boise, CCS, SMU, and SDSU.
None of that is happening

Go usf!!!!!!!

I’m counting like 26 teams here.....reminds me of the failed WAC super conference. Also, geez that conference wouldn’t have many good teams. The current MWC is better and they might end up adding Oregon St and Wash St.

And who knows what Cal is going to do, they get no mentions at all....because of their stupid rule that they won’t play in conservative states.

Cal's f*cked up. lol.

NOT ONE STUDENT that I have met from there supports *ANY* contact sport or competition.

Also, it makes sense from an activism point of view to have your influence in areas that you disagree with, not the opposite...

Only way I see any G5 teams added is it the severely depleted Pac12 takes on some MWC but at that point it wouldn’t be a “P5” conference anymore. More like a MWC+. Same with the ACC of teams get raided. It’ll be an AAC+ and not really a step up, will be looked at the same as the MWC and AAC has been looked at for the last several years. “Why don’t you just join a better conference and schedule better teams” 🤦🏻‍♂️

It is very possible the USF finishes last, but what I have found over the years that college football pre-season sports magazines do very little research in the AAC. For example this year Athlon has UCF finishing 3rd in the conference with an 8-4 record.
That sounds like a reasonable prediction. We were 8-4 regular season last year and had like 3 last minute escapes at home that could have gone the other way.

Well, with substandard QB play, 8-4 might even be a stretch. This is one area usf lucked out getting Bohanon instead of a guy who hasn’t had any PT at the position in 2.5 years.

Maybe they can call their new 35K seat OCS "The Cowbell"...

Oh, and of course we get a mention at the end when one of the potential suppliers asked "Will the Bulls’ stadium be better than the one at UCF?"

Well of course a brand new $300M +/- stadium will be better than ours in and of itself. The bigger issue is how well our much smaller investment has paid off over the years compared to anything they could ever hope to achieve, both from the standpoint of the game day traditions we have developed on campus and how well it has served us in moving upward in the world of college football. They could build a $1B stadium and it would still take them decades to get where we are now as far as culture and fan engagement goes.

$350 Million? Will be interested to see exactly how they plan to pay for this. But I guess that type of info will come later.

Especially if they financed it, with the current interest rates and their paltry gameday turnout, they’ll default in their debt. Who’s gonna take on that loan?

My guess is they have absolutely no intention of building this stadium….but will just keep planning and talking about it to appease the 30 fans they have, and to present at least an attempt to be in any expansion talks (which doesn’t seem to be going well for them at this point). If/when they are left behind again, someone will have to be the one to go public with the fact it just doesn’t make sense. Maybe that someone will be one of the fools laughing at our stadium at the meeting today.

This is EXACTLY how I feel. I don’t think this was ever a reality, more a desperation move to appease their fans and try to bamboozle a conference call up…one that they will keep dangling in front of their dumb little rabbit fanbase forever now, $5 at a time.

This sums up the entire history of their football program and fan base

And they are saying this crap despite not having a single design drawing or the first $1 of a financing plan in place.

Anybody who wants any part of a rivalry with them after the way they have acted over the previous year is a damn fool.

So they’re going to build a $350 million dollar stadium that only holds 35000? That’s actually probably a good idea since their schedule will be made up entirely of G5 and FCS opponents. The P5s will be playing straight up conference games only by the time the Feedlot is completed. Still, a 2/3rds empty 35,000 seat stadium won’t look as bad as a 9/10 empty Raymond James.

comments like that would have bothered me in the past because reality greater than fantasy, but who cares now. they're permanently AAC or worse. i could see them giving up and going back to the fun belt ... they are a founding member.

"None of these idiotic, college-football ruining scenarios means crap if USF is not called up"

Yet another example of their blind arrogance
