I agree, if there is a lesson here for us it is to stay humble and hungry. Love UCF for what it is and not by trying to pretend it is some typical old school football program. Our red headed stepchild status is fun and unique.

In the scenario where ACC schools get out of the GOR and leave, the ACC will look at the Big 12 schools like UCF, WV, and Cincy to reload with before they send a life boat to rescue a G5 program with no fan base or accomplishments.
They are seriously thinking the Big10 is going to come calling too, to get access to FL. I mean, come on…also, the ACC without Clemson and FSU is a bad conference that still won’t want them.
Lol. If the Big 10 wanted “access to Florida”, they would invite FSU or Miami. Two schools that would do backflips to join the Big 10.

Posted 4 hours ago (edited)USF was blocking UCF from joining the Big East ... even if it was informal. UCF alumni lawmakers raised a stink and publicly shamed USF into being the one to invite UCF to join the Big East as it was dying (it was still the Big East in 2011). If UCF never joined the Big East, they would never have advanced - no Fiesta Bowl, no Peach Bowl, no Scott Frost - and therefore would not have been invited to the Big 12.

So the ACC is gonna come calling a team the Big 12 ignored? Really? Makes sense, especially given the incredible fan support they get for games and their total dominance of their current conference. Don’t forget the selling out every game at their OCS. But they did crowdfund raise $470 towards the stadium build!
And they don't realize ... many conference ADs and others remember what USF did to the Big East, putting itself first, over the conference, and utterly making everyone else at the mercy of them + the Catholic-7. No one wants USF because of that! They remember!
I think this guy is like 90 years old judging from previous posts, which is why he is so clear about what was going on 60 years ago, but can't remember why we were an attractive add to the Big12. I hope his nurse is hot....he deserves that

I like to drink alcohol at titty bars. That bar you can’t and Orlando bars aren’t nude. Central Florida titty bars are terrible.
I went to 2 in the 4 years I was in Orlando. Mons Venus and some junky one near downtown. Mons Venus gave me a free drink chip. No alcohol so I just left the chip on bar. The Orlando one sold alcohol but the girls wore bottoms and pasties. Waste of time. Add in no alcohol after 2am. South Florida has the best ones.
Mons Venus for the talent and novelty. Unmatched. First strip club I went to so it ruined me for life. Getting into the Spaceship at Odyssey across the street though is the experience.Definitely have to get @dali drama 's take on all this ... well ... just because.

I’ve been. Venue yes, but as far as talent, value and proximity can’t beat it. Strip clubs ain’t really a scene for me anymore unless in mixed company.

Think about this...It is highly likely that UCF/UF (UCF had more) brought more fans in one game (Gasparilla) to Raymond James than USF did for the entire season.
If you add gasparilla to whatever attendance we draw there this year, we out draw their past 3 seasons.
on top of that, they have to share their revenues with RJS. But theyre buildijg an ocs that will cost 600 million and be paid for by the ACC
