Delicious Bull Tears Mega Thread

usfPoster1: "The difference between what ucIf and USF are going to make is about $284,000,000 when you take into account the two years of half-shares that ucIf will receive from the B12. I understand the current media deal before the new six-year deal with ESPN/FOX starts in 2025.

My very rough math (with a fair amount of assumptions
😞

ucIf
2023-2025 ($20M x 2) = $40,000,000
2025-2031 ($50M x 6) = $300,000,000
Total: $340,000,000

USF
2023-2031 ($7M per year} =$56,000,000

Disparity: $284,000,000

How do we make this UP!!!"

I don’t think its 50 mil per season. Closer to 40. People were assuming we could sell 3rd tier but thats a part of the 32 mil base.

That should be our personal goal, 500 pages of the mega tears thread

There is a thread on this disparity on the Crap Pen now.

Something I didn’t know, there is a deal in place for the B12 to immediately bring in usf upon completion of their high school size stadium.

$284MM is a big gap. It begs the question, how much should we tip their women dancing at Mons Venus on Black Friday to help them out?

Oops, thread has been removed already…..can’t say anything factual or nice about UCF over there.

But $284,000,000 will only pay for half their new mega stadium

How the hell will those peasants pay the exit fee to leave, lemonade stand or car wash?

Is this real or a troll lol? I wouldn't even be angry if this happened (unlike usf) but on what merit do they get in?! The only reason they get in is by association with us. Again, not angry, if they actually build an ocs and get a good crowd and fanbase going- great. Would be fun to have a competitive, high-energy regional rivalry, but damn, I don't see why you would skip a bunch of other great, deserving schools and choose usf based off them finally building a high school stadium in 5 years.

WOW!!!! [laughing][laughing][laughing]They actually deleted this thread! OMG what a fragile, insecure fanbase!!! They can't even post 1 slight negative (but factual) discussion posts in public with fear that they will get mocked and laughed at by others (true)!!!

After another loss against Houston, do you guys think that they fire Scott before they even play us? I mean 1 win all season and its against an FCS. Not exactly trending up.
This season a few schools who fired their coaches the interims at Nebraska and Ga. Tech went onto win their next games. So let's not jinx anything here and hope the extend Scott's contract after our game . 😆

Ga Tech won the week after, but Nebraska got curb stomped by OU the week after Frost's departure.

50m is the estimate when you include Big-12 shares of the NCAA tournament and NY6/Playoff revenue.
They are going with the worst possible amount because it doesn't make them feel as bad. If there was no realignment, I bet we would be pushing for a higher value because the Conference had an undefeated national champion and a team that competed in the College Football Invitational. They can't leave the AAC out because of the noise that UCF created when we went undefeated for so long. The fact those 3 teams leave and are replaced by 6 teams for the same payout reflects that while the other teams have been strong in CUSA. Besides, the Conference still sells itself as an old BCS conference since they still have some old Big East blood. I mean they still have a team that at one point in time was ranked #2 before they went on to lose 4 games in November.

With our first Big 12 check, we should find out who holds the note on their new (not yet completed) IPF and purchase that. Then kick Da*Bools out to practice in the rain the day after they miss their first payment.

We could rent it out the couple days before any USF home games to the visiting team to use for practice and indoor tailgating venue for the visiting fans.

We could install some bleachers inside and sell it back to those dumb/broke bastards as an On Campus Stadium.

To that point, Memphis, ECU, and FAU are far ahead of them if b12 ever expands east…but those are only under consideration if we havent raided the acc

I like your thinking. I would just rent it to a craft brewer under the condition you have to wear ucf gear to get in

I think it's more usf fan delusion not based on any actual facts. What reason would the B12 take usf other than to have a doormat to pad the win column of the top teams?
Plus Yormack has hinted that they want all 4 timezones, so I think they're looking at the collapsing PAC-12.

"That amounted to roughly $7 million annually per school — a figure that’s expected to remain the same,...." Who's said that? I've just heard wild-butt guesses, but they haven't been close to that. and "....$18 million over 14 years as an exit fee." Hahahahahahah, what twit negotiated that? Barely over a million a year for 14 years? Can Aresco say "Chump Change"? Wonder if we could settle it for lower as a 1 year lump sum?

Just for fun, the article mentions Bohannan anxious to come back, duh, injured, massive losing record, do you think he's going for the draft? But anyway, Marsh, the replacement, did fairly well v Houston, are we going to take him too in transfer, next year?

Between the possible PAC12 adds, and the schools who are much more prepared to move up (Memphis, Tulane, SMU, SD St), there will not be anywhere for the heifers to go……and college football is better for it.
It sucks for actual good football schools, Memphis, Tulane, SMU, SD st., or at least getting better; for they would probably be far better teams than the mediocre PAC ones, who seem to have Name Quality only (or BB which I don't follow).

Their media market is the only chance they have to make it to the big 12 in this decade. FAU being near the Miami / Ft Lauderdale market has almost as good of an argument for consideration as they do.

We just took their market. I've said for seems like decades, a P5 (soon 3) only needs 1 team, UCF or usf, to grab the majority of the eyes in both markets. Fl. football fans only care about name brands, they aren't actually football fans, just namebrand fans. Big XII decided who won. Bye bye usf.

They also need to include the revenue UCF generates with the OCS, while they are stuck renting the pirates ship.

What do y'all think Jeff Scott is going to do with his buyout money?

Convicted usf accountant says half of stolen 12.8 MM went to webcam girlfriend.
Attorney Scott Rost...Coincidence or is he going under an alias because it is a porn site

There is a paywall so no article link but here is recent article title in Tampa Bay newspaper
OMG...LOL@Duh*Bulls...Go Temple Owls....integrity and devotion...you have hope...give Jeff Scott an extension...

Firing Jeff Scott is an easy call, but keeping him at USF is the wiser move

John Romano | There is no justifying a 4-25 record under Scott. The hope is that integrity and devotion succeed in the long run.

It would be an incredibly wise move. To be the best...... and every P5 needs a cupcake.
