Not wanting it to be true isnt insane. Just like everything that comes from the left, when looking at things objectively and not getting caught up in the emotion that they wish to play on leads to the truth. Climate change, border security, minority oppression, etc, etc, etc are all issues that the left uses to invoke an emotional response and overcome a persons objectivity. Those of us who are able to take things at face value without letting emotion take control are generally correct in our assessments. That isnt insane, its clear thinking.
The fact that you believed such a ridiculous story should be enough to smimmer you down. I guess not. Scream and yell like a triggered lefty. Anger management class would do you well.
I watched Seven days in Entebbe last night. Very interesting that the highjacks were self described socialists, white liberal and “scholars.” They were members of PFLP and Revolutionary Cells. I look at the left movement in the Democratic Party and this is what I see.

That part is already known. It was two Nigerians and friends of Smollett. From them....“We are not racist. We are not homophobic, and we are not anti-Trump. We were born and raised in Chicago and are American citizens,”
Sounds like Smollett pressured them and they probably needed money.
What I'm saying is that not even looking at why/how, the fact is that they are not white and they are not Trump supporters.

That was the storyline that he was or feared to be written off. I think the secondary motive was the extreme hate of his president.
i dont think hate for the president was his motive. when the letter he likely sent to himself didnt draw the national attention that he craved he knew he could use the hate for the president as a way to get more attention.
He was a big anti-trump actor which is typical of Hollywood. I do think his desire to further his career was the main motive. Adding in the fake Trump story was icing on the cake.

Why the heck would you pay 2 guys to give you a scratch on your face and deliberately make sure there was no video of it? Why masks? He could have just punched himself in the face once or twice, poured bleach on himself, put the rope around his own neck, and saved 7000 bucks. Either he is the dumbest criminal of all time or something about this story isnt right.
