The hate rages from the news and celebrities. The press secretary can't even eat lunch at specific places. There is so much radical left wing hate these days.

Seems like you are blurring the line between disliking someone and assaulting them.

There are instances of a singular person from the right going after someone who is a leftist but it never involves a mob.
