Obama admin planted spies in Trump campaign

Word is coming out now that the Obama administration, under the knowledge of John Kerry and John Brennan planted a spy in the Trump campaign to set Russia traps for lower level workers.

This is banana republic level type of stuff. Have we really devolved to the point where the party in control uses the power of the federal government to spy on their political adversaries?

They all knew Hillary would win and she would cover all this up. Trump came around at the perfect time. Four years later and we'd have another McCain, Romney, Jeb type that wouldn't beat her. The swamp is being drained and all the nasty shit at the bottom is coming to light.

Our government is as corrupt as Russia or China or Venezuela, they just have more money from us to keep it all quiet.

There's going to be a lot of political wars ahead, I hope it doesn't turn civil.

This might be one of the most ridiculous things I've read in a while. How on Earth does an American set Russian traps when they involve foreign nationals? And what benefit would it serve when everyone and their mother thought Hillary was going to win. They wouldn’t have even bothered because no one thought Trump would win.

Obama was president while the FBI was investigating a crime that has led to over a dozen indictments so far. Heaven forbid the FBI attempt to investigate. It's not like Obama is running the DOJ on a daily basis and if he was he sure kept the fact that Trump was under investigation quiet while Hillary's investigation was the main story of the campaign.

Obama was also president while the DOJ was investigating a crime. Only it led to nothing, since Obama’s AG was secretly meeting with the husband of the person being investigated and colluding to assure that nothing damaging game of it. It also helped that the FBI had people sympathetic to the person being investigated, to alter langauage in the investigative report to sound less incriminating and to assure that no prosecution was recommended.

So, let's cut through this.

Yes, the FBI was investigating. That's their job. And yes, it was President Obama's everyday reality not to follow it. But he still should have been told, and if he was, then he's complicit.

But no, the FBI clearly had agents that went outside the rules. They had intelligence sharing well outside what was allows, and not just to DHS and other agencies, but to political entities. The FBI has repeatedly had to deal with that reality. Anyone who denies that is a Progressive apologist.

We're only now finding how deep it's going. Why? As the originally valid, special prosecutors office goes more and more off-track, you're starting to see more and more 'whistleblowers' come out from various, federal agencies -- career law enforcement, not politicians.

The same thing happened when a California Congresswoman held up a gun runner gun and made the statement that Mexican cartels were getting their weapons from the US (since bunked, statistically, by the ATF). That's when three (3) ATF agents were sacked and repeatedly chastized internally, until they finally all decided to whistleblow. No one talks about what they still deal with today, but they feel it was worth it.

And that's how these things work. Good, federal law enforcement always has a few that are willing to throw away their careers, challenging their political superiors many levels up (especially 20+ year agents, even at the risk of their pensions), but they try to change internally. And after many months, even years, when it doesn't ... and the BS hits the fan, they finally come out. And they aren't always Snowden types, they'll stay in the US and suffer the consequences too.

The more this non-sense goes on, the more crap you're going to see come out about the Obama administration -- things that wouldn't have seen the night-of-day if there wasn't such a heavy, pro-DNC bias in the US media and total "Registered Democrats only" blanket that exists in DC.

Comey was put in a really poor position. I wish Comey wouldn't have leaked information, otherwise he would have been clean. Trump should have recused himself from firing Comey, despite the recommendation to do so. Had he, we'd be looking at this all differently.

Because make no mistake, regardless of the politicking, we don't know the damage of Clinton's 'classified spillage.' She turned down the DoD, NSA, etc... on carrying a 2nd device, or securing her own device. And that's when the lawyers, and the DoJ (including the aforementioned), got involved.

To this day, I've never seen something like this happen. Everyone who is guilty of classified spillage -- not even pre-meditated and irresponsible (like Clinton) -- has had to deal with house arrest, even after they fessed up and completely disclosed. Clinton never did, or at least not 'on the record' to the FBI, and the FBI never seized computers, devices, etc... that is required by her agreements.

That's what pisses me off. Even the General completely disclosed and admitted guilt, and got off much easier than he should. Clinton didn't do that, but because she's a politician with really good lawyers that pre-empted the FBI (and CIA, DoD, et al.) at the DoJ, she was protected. Anyone who has signed those agreements knows what you're giving up ... and she didn't bother to care.

The fact that she threw Powell under-the-bus -- when Powell always used SIPRNET, JWICS, et al. systems as required -- says everything about how horrendous of a person Hillary is. It was the only time Powell ever spoke negatively of her, in response to that. First about 'her people,' and then at the gasp of what she said publicly about him (totally false).
