He concluded that when he said Pitt was a better draw. LmaoNo, even the educated cow fans can come up with a well reasoned argument occasionally.
This idiot has nothing going on......

He joined in 2012. Only team that killed us was Ohio State that year.An aside to the ones that call names and insult, UCF did in fact play my school, and got predictably shellacked.
Wow! you are still living in the past just like the Nebraska fans. When was the last time Miami was relevant? I will agree they finally hired a good coach.
That may very well be true though, a P5 team in a conference with more visibility, and a 1st round QB.He concluded that when he said Pitt was a better draw. Lmao
I think you raise a good point. You can’t really determine whether Pitt or UCF is the better draw because, right now, it’s apples to oranges. Yes, Pitt averaged about 150k more viewers a game. However, I think UCF would easily catch up if they played a P5 schedule on P5 time/channel slots. That may very well be true though, a P5 team in a conference with more visibility, and a 1st round QB.
Colorado wrangles a buffalo before its games using Miller High Life Rodeo cowboys...That's pretty Big 12 to me and less..."Cali craft beer"...there is probably some pause bc culturally schools like Colorado enjoyed separating from Texas schools and liked the Cultural fit of the Pac12
it is still weird that a school(USC)that takes recruits to Manhattan Beach for a view of the Pacific Ocean is now bolting to be a part of a Conference based in the Midwest . Everything about that place looks and feels ‘Pacific 12’ but money & backwards postseason mindset is winning over culture and dedication to your region
UCF, UH and Cincy are the luckiest schools in the country.
Delusional….thinking any payout for the ACC without FSU, Clemson, Miami and UNC leaving would remain the same.I think the best case scenario for us is, assuming there will be multiple schools leaving, ESPN brokers a deal with the ACC and the SEC that allows select schools to exit for a reduced fee while ensuring the rest of the conference that our payouts will remain the same. What’s in our favor is that ESPN has a vested interest in our survival because of the ACC Network and the fact that they can control a power conference for a fraction of the B1G/SEC’s costs. They would also want to avoid losing ACC schools to FOX and the Big Ten.
If Clemson, Florida State, Miami, and UNC leave and we can still receive our ~$33M annual payout, that will significantly higher than what the Big XII or PAC-12 will have, placing us in a position of strength moving forward if we wanted to backfill with some of the eastern Big XII schools (Cincinnati, UCF, WVU).
My opinion….the Big 10 is making a long term mistake if it doesn’t bring in some other western partners. This would greatly impact every other sports that has to constantly travel 2-3 time zones for any road games.there is probably some pause bc culturally schools like Colorado enjoyed separating from Texas schools and liked the Cultural fit of the Pac12

This is true though Boulder could be confused for Berkeley quite easilyColorado wrangles a buffalo before its games using Miller High Life Rodeo cowboys...That's pretty Big 12 to me and less..."Cali craft beer"...

They do both have legal pot.

Will make away games interesting in Boulder, and large amounts of food consumption at tailgates.
On the open market, it absolutely wouldn’t. It’d only remain the same if ESPN lets it, and that could be possible if they facilitated some type of deal that let those four leave for the SEC to prevent them from pursuing any interest from the Big Ten. If they don’t, the GOR agreement would be upheld and those schools couldn’t leave to begin with (supposedly).Delusional….thinking any payout for the ACC without FSU, Clemson, Miami and UNC leaving would remain the same.
Pot brownies and beer. What could go wrongThey do both have legal pot.

I enjoy reading your posts. It’s nice to have an out-sider perspective from such a well informed and intelligent fan.I think you raise a good point. Enjoy it while you can. You won’t be seeing much of that once you join a conference with the Mountaineers.I enjoy reading your posts. It’s nice to have an out-sider perspective from such a well informed and intelligent fan.
We dont see that very often from visitors on this board.
I’m actually gonna give you a “Hail Pitt” but I’m following it up with a “Charge On”. 😉
Yes, this is very refreshing. Most visitors are know nothing idiots like spectrum....he must work the day shift at Burger King since it has been calm today.I enjoy reading your posts. It’s nice to have an out-sider perspective from such a well informed and intelligent fan.

Fingers crossed. I cant take the waiting anymore
I feel like this is just reporting on the Dodd article from yesterday and Olson article today. Hope I’m wrong.
Also more excitingThis is worse than waiting on the initial Big12 stuff last fall.
The west coast dgaf about college fball. I spent years in cali and they worship their nfl teams. Same with seahawks. They are not going to watch UNC play Cal
The ACC had to make a move. This appears to be the ACC response to remain relevant. The 2 conferences won't merge, but they will share television coverage via the ACC network.
Can the B1G just add Oregon and Wash and just end it already?
Just imagine, coaches being truthful when they tell the media they are happy at their current school and never leaving (never happens, right?), or someone telling their boss they love working there and would never leave for a better opportunity.
More than 22,22 years ago…and shellacked is an odd way to say you won by a touchdown
