Republican National Convention

I like how a Cuban American and Castro survivor dares to share his viewpoints and resident patsy white liberals tell him he's wrong and that they know better. Because they read the Huffington Post and stuff and living amongst the corn fields has been pretty eye opening.

Yep, you got us, if we dont buy into every word at an overly partisan event as truth we are all just hillbilly racists. I bet this doesnt work both ways those does it? If you disagreed with minority speakers at the DNC, I am guessing that is perfectly ok for your patsy white conservative self to do right?

Here, let me help you: Survivor of a violent socialist revolution says "Hey, I see a lot of similarities in the actions and themes of Democratic aligned contingencies today and it concerns me" and you guys says "No, that's not true at all". One person actually experienced this previously and has credibility on the matter, the others did not and do not.

I hope this helps.

Ok cool, I guess we must all agree that America is on the verge of being a Marxist country, and only Donald Trump can save us! If not, we are just hillbilly racists who live in cornfields. Thank you for explaining this to me 85, doesnt sound like propaganda at all, I promise.

No, you're just allowing yourself to be a useful idiot. Seriously, go outside of the Che lovefest and learn the other side of the Cuba story. Or go spend some time in Calle Ocho and ask a few people for their lived experience. You'll see how different it is from the stories that you've been reading on your websites or people like Colin Kaepernick proffer.

You sound defensive. All I said is that I value the opinion of someone who has already seen a violent socialist revolt play out more than people who think that leftists in the streets burning buildings to the ground is just a pathway to become Denmark or something.

True. Remember when we have had riots in the past and ended up becoming a Marxist country?

Huh? No one is talking about Cuba, and I referrring to America becoming Marxist and Donald Trump being the only who can stop it. But 85 already convinced me its true, so no need to pile on.

The good old "It's never happened here before so it won't happen here" argument.

Good point. Obviously if Joe Biden wins we will basically be a Marxist country by March? February? What is your prediction as to how long it takes us to become Marxist?

the left is busy turning most major D run cities into hellholes and eroding police departments at the request of Marxists who control the BLM messaging.
Isn't Trump the one in charge NOW? He's acting as if he's the challenger for crying out loud!!!

Apparently we're all supposed to believe that if city hellholes, defunded police departments ,and eroding race relations is horrible under his tenure, it'll be worse if we elect Biden.

That is seriously not what anyone is saying.

Can you agree that there has been a long conversion of ideals from the majority values of rugged individualism to the philosophy that it is our government that is the strength of the country? From personal life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness (read property ownership) to the common good and common welfare?

These are mentality shifts from America's founding values to a Marxist value set. The wide range of academia is teaching these values and actively opposing any difference of opinion as moral evil. Groups that proclaim that they want to end America's system in favor of a Marxist system are encouraged to paint their slogans on the thoroughfares of our greatest cities and anyone who attempts to counter with a different view is rebuffed or arrested. Mayors and Governors come out and attack the very institutions that they are elected to manage in order to appease the demands of groups that have told us all that they will accept nothing less than a total conversion to Marxist society. Democratic representatives in Congress (no less than the Speaker of the House) have labeled Republicans "domestic enemies." Marxist policies have been proposed in both chambers of Senate and have support from the electorate comprised of those people that have gone through the academia that is pushing Marxism.

So do I think we'll see a bloody revolution that marks the conversion? No. But one day during our lifetime, we'll look back and realize that we're there and wonder what the hell happened.

IDK, my boomer parents were well taken care of by their stable jobs, pensions, social security, Medicare part D (socialism). Me, on the other hand will get none of that and am creating my own job, retirement and healthcare through rugged individualism. 💪🤠

And lets not forget the generation before the boomers, the "greatest generation" who got zero money down low interest loans for houses through the GI Bill, a program that almost single handedly built the middle class with government backed loans. These benefits were so widly used that homeownership increased 30% something that would have never happened without socialism errr, I mean, bootstraps.

(Also this program only applied to white vets because of redlining.)

So what are YOU saying?
Groups that proclaim that they want to end America's system in favor of a Marxist system are encouraged to paint their slogans on the thoroughfares of our greatest cities and anyone who attempts to counter with a different view is rebuffed or arrested.
People protesting about police violence against Blacks are Marxist? Really? THAT is what the protests are all about? Are you serious??!?

To use a phrase that I read somewhere:
That is seriously not what anyone is saying.

Did anybody catch Kimberly Guilfoyle say that she was a first generation American? I googled her and she was born in San Francisco. Her mom is Puerto Rican and dad is from Ireland.

Wealth is created through homeownership and the ability to pass that down through your family. Redlining might explain the racial wealth gap but it's probably because of a lack of self-determination and bootstraps.

I think my grandfather contributed a few hundred bucks to social security but got checks for decades. Next year, my grandmother will start her 4th decade on social security.

This started in the 40s and is the primary reason behind the US becoming a world power both militarily and economically. Other people have given specific examples, so I wont reiterate what they said, but this idea of American history being all about individualism is quite simply not accurate.

Fun side fact. Do you know the age demographic that is the biggest supporter of Trump? Gen X males.

Millenial women are the biggest supporters of Biden.

I think we are far more likely to look back and wonder why we decided to kill the middle class, gut SS and medicare, etc etc. Because that is actually what is going on.

Not surprising. I think there is a lot to be said about the 40 year cycle theory and this would kind of reflect it.

Of course you have a flawed and incorrect view of individualism.

Imagine typing all of this and making it seem like a socialist freeloading utopia, and choosing not to mention the fact that those same people fought and won the bloodiest war in history.

The fact there was a war doesnt change the fact that the government stepped in and played a huge role in forming our society. Our society was not simply built on individualism, the goverment, and tax dollars played a significant role.

Joe Lockhart is very upset that his network only partially ruined a kids life and did not ruin all of the kids life based upon a lie.

I can't remember the last time the GOP made this big of a play on getting the black vote. They must see an opening there.
It's not a play for the black vote. He, Kassic Kim and Herschel aren't changing any votes. This is to solidify the soft Trump supporter that might be a little uncomfortable with his racial tone. Each night of the RNC my Trumper friends post about every black speaker at the RNC. "Wow! Such inspiring words! He/She might be a future president! All Lives Matter!"
