Formal Trump Impeachment Inquiry

So now it's the dossier???!?

Next thing you know, you'll be telling us this story is actually be about Benghazi. :)

You guys are clearly morally outraged any time dirt and info is provided for political reasons by foreign entities. I'm just checking to see if your selective outrage also applies when a Democrat's campaign pays an intermediary to source a Kremlin Intelligence compiled dirt dossier, even if it came to light that said idiot Democratic campaign was fed a Russian disinformation dossier.

So it's a bad thing that trump wants Ukraine to look into a situation where a Russian puppet was involved? Last time I checked, you guys were sure that Russia had agents all over the world trying to influence our election. Seems like we could all benefit from an investigation into corruption involving Russia and our former vice president.
Not about Joe. Next point?

If it was that easy we would all have real estate empires and billions.
Most of us dont get hundreds of millions for free at birth and aren't willing to be scumbags and not pay our vendors and banks or start businesses that are intentionally fraudulent like fake universities.

I can't wait for the next DNC debate; we'll have the nutjobs in the House screaming to impeach Trump, while every candidate on stage dings Biden for corruption in Ukraine and lends validity to the entire Trump request to continue investigating Burisma.

It's absolutely about Joe. Have you not been paying attention?

Would you have a problem with the president asking a foreign country to look into corruption that affects the US if it involved Putin? Oh wait, this does.

Jesus, do you have ANYTHING to offer other than your lame "Well, whadda 'bout?" scenarios? When everybody is guilty of everything in your world, your guy can literally do anything.

Let's have a special prosecutor and hold up the country for 2 years and then ignore the prosecutor's statement that there is nothing to charge and have more investigations. Then, let's find something else to investigate so that, even if Biden wins, we can cast a pall over his administration for the entire 4 years and use it to continually build up public distrust of our executive branch. Maybe we can keep the American people at each other's throats so that the "fundamental change" to America that was promised can finally be implemented.

First off, how was the country held up for 2 years? I thought you guys have said the country was going great, and now you are saying we were held up for 2 years?

Second off, this has nothing to do with the Mueller report.

I like how you are trying to conflate known evidence with rumor, innuendo, and extrapolation and characterize it as whataboutism

I like watching you guys struggle to latch upon any moral equivalencies. God forbid you acknowledge how our President abused his position.

This isn't a moral equivalence. Trump has been accused via anonymous 3rd party reports of using his power for a quid pro quo. Biden himself is on record bragging about using his power to protect a corrupt company that gave a bizarre contract to his son.

I get it, you guys are butthurt for having your hypocrisy pointed out.

Your "play dumb" act is wearing thin.

Your inability to answer a question about a statement you made is wearing even more thin. You made the statement, but apparently can't back it up so you attack me. Figures.

Biden's statement had nothing to do with Hunter's company. You don't even know the basic details of this.

Ive answered plenty of your questions. You are not so oblivious to the world as to not notice the division that has been sown in our society over the endless investigations of all things Trump. That is an overall hindrance and especially in Congress where they’ve devoted so much time and political capital. But you knew all that was happening when you decided to ask the question in the way that you did. Especially with the implied insult in it.

Dude, the divisions were there before the investigations of Trump. The only reason Trump is president is because of the divisions. Remember, when you guys were making out Obama to be a Muslim, who wasn't a real citizen etc etc. So yeah, the divisions started before Trump was elected.

Quote of the Day!!! :)

Yeah, if it wasn't for all those 'endless investigations of all things Trump' by those damn Democrats, we'd be a country united.

Please lay out the details then.

The prosecutor, Victor Shokin, was accused by many nations, not just the US, and also Ukrainian people of not doing anything about corruption in their government and being corrupt himself. There were large protests against him by his own people until he finally resigned. Biden's statement was in regards to that. You guys are making it out as if Biden is the only person who wanted him gone, which is far from the case.

Also, the investigation into Burisma started 2 years prior to Hunter Biden taking the job. The investigation had nothing to do with the Biden's.

You think that the United States or the Ukraine is better suited to investigate Joe Biden's corruption?

Trump could have asked his AG to do it. That's not against the law. It would be a huge conflict of interest and it would probably get his ass in trouble but I doubt it would be against the law if there was a case for it (there's not, which is probably why he hasn't done it.)

However he didn't ask his AG to do it. He asked a foreign government. That's illegal regardless of a quid pro quo offer. It's also just as problematic ethically and morally as the first option.

Hunter Biden gets the Burisma job right in the middle of that investigation and is connected by a close friend of John Kerry, gets paid $50,000 a month to do exactly nothing, and suddenly the investigation is dropped. All while Biden is the sitting VP, who later goes to Ukraine and dangles US Aid money as quid pro quo for having the prosecutor fired.

Yep, nothing to see there!

How do you know what he was paid to do?

Do you not think Shokin should have resigned?

Mike Turner on the Intel Committee had to call out Adam Schiff, D Ranking Member on Intl, during his time to speak for literally inventing lies about what was in this complaint and pushing it in his opening statements as fact about what happened. Jesus.

Schiff has since had to apologize for lying to everyone and trying to mislead everyone.

I know Schiff is a total shitbag but this is low even for him.

Yeah, I agree. That opening statement was total BS and hurt his case when he had the facts on his side.

Again, these people need to hire trained lawyers to ask questions instead of showboating, because they always all come off looking like asshats.

I know we have our hands full with Trump crimes right now but it sure seems he threatened the whistleblower.

This tweet explains Trump's deranged mindset: I am the Prez so anything I do is "Perfect" and anything anybody does to hurt me is "treason."

That's how the whistleblower becomes 'close to a spy.'

My understanding is, These calls are not recorded, and as such can not have a complete exact transcript. That is true no matter who the president is.
So they have 2 or 3 people listen in and make up a report which is what was sent to House and Senate. It is the only preservation made of the call. In that accounting the Prez never threatens the Ukraine prez, and ask for a favor, checking into Russian interference and the hacking of Dem Computers, and Ukraine military. After 500 words he throws in a line about biden. The press puts it out as do me a favor...check out Biden. If you listen or read what the letter says that was simply an add on and not the main thing he was looking for. So what you have is a Brennan clone whistle blower spouting second hand info that he personally has no knowledge of to the people above him. DOJ looked at his report, and the call and decided there was no there, there. Politicians are doing what they do. They are crooked lawyers playing the roll of partisan hacks.

The “whistleblower” is really more of a rumor monger. Normally whistleblowers are actively involved and convey first-hand knowledge. Nonetheless, carry on.

The entire complaint is based upon 2nd hand info and 90% if it is aimed at Rudy

I’m sure him and his multi billion dollar assets/bank account would be devastated to hear this from you
Ha, got me.

I just never cared for him much, and his reality TV shows made think less of him (my wife watched them). USFL move was probably his biggest blunder I saw happen. That's why I'll never vote for him.

Success is measured by different people in different ways. But I am tired of the US Media's demonizations of anything Trump.

221 support the inquiry. I don't think we'll get an accurate count of who supports actual articles of impeachment until more comes out.
The inquiry will go forward. The question is ... how partisan will it be, and how much will that backfire? As always ... we shall see.

Given that the supermajority of Progressives still don't understand how Trump took the Republican primary, let alone the White House, it probably won't end well for them. I still cannot stand Trump, but the teardown of civil liberties by Progressives is really scaring a lot of people. If you disagree with them, you're a bigot, which is still a label that is snagging a lot of Democratic voters these days. So where will they turn?

“Today, the Republican majority is not judging the president with fairness, but impeaching him with a vengeance,” Pelosi said on December 18, 1998. “In the investigation of the president, fundamental principles which Americans hold dear — privacy, fairness, checks and balances — have been seriously violated. And why Because we are here today because the Republicans in the House are paralyzed with hatred of President Clinton. And until the Republicans free themselves of this hatred, our country will suffer.”

You can tell there's nothing actually available in any of this to warrant impeachment. And I know that because if there was, you wouldn't have the shit tier media omitting 530 words between parts of the call to mislead readers or viewers into believing that there WAS actually some promise or quid pro quo exchanged.

If there was, you wouldn't have Adam Schiff who heads the frigging Intel Committee start his hearing by outright lying and making stuff up to falsely get the headlines that he needs to keep pushing for impeachment.
