High school boys rejoice

Maybe but if one was standing next to me using the urinal, they had one of those funnel things.
Yea I could see your point for all of those times you were really excited to check out the guy's next to yours giant package only to learn it wasnt there. I bet you'd be devastated after getting all riled up to check out the good stuff.

Have any of you [knowingly] met an actual transgender person?

I'm pretty sure youve been sharing restrooms with them your entire lives and never really knew.

So what's the point of Obama's bullshit then? That was my take. I would have never known. But now he's given pedos and horny teenagers open season on girls bathrooms. And if you see some pervy old man walking into a women's bathroom you can't say anything about it or you'll be labeled a bigot. And schools won't be able to do anything about it because lawyers will be lining up at the doors.

No he hasnt. Yes you can. And yes they can. I'm sure some lawyers will try but it would be pretty easy to prove someone hasnt identified as transgender before some incident causing the issue.

You're own comments contradict that. People are now going to feel safer about being transgender and will be coming out. How will teachers know who is lying and who is not. They won't be able to make those decisions without losing school funding.

I'm sorry, but nobody is going to talk about the pervy girls that are going to try to go into the boy's bathroom using the "I identify myself as male" thing to see some dick or is that A) not a thing or B) completely anti misogynistic and, therefore, not true?

Parent support, for one, would be a good start. Then maybe some sort of system where a transgender can at least have the ability to talk to a school counselor before just 'waltzing on in' one day. Can't see too many parents supporting their kid wanting to use the other locker room for being a stupid horny kid.

But now you're coming at it from multiple angles too. Are you ok with legit transgender students having that support or werent you just concerned with the 'horny boys having free reign (they don't)'?

However thinking it through, i could easily see an unintended consequence where parents demand that they be notified if a transgender student has requested their "nonbirth" restroom/locker room. Maybe not by name, but kinda like how everyone has to get a notice if a kid has a peanut allergy a statement is sent out to let parents know the school has granted an unnamed student permission or whatever. Then it puts a further spotlight onto the student instead of letting them blend in. I'm sure that would be a rough situation.

I don't care about transgender people. Like you said, none of us even knew about it before. Just Obama's latest faux rage to get attention. This just opens pandora's box for everything else to go on, especially when he says he is going to pull funding if schools don't comply. Teachers and administrators are now on the same leash as cops. They're constantly going to be looking over their shoulder waiting for the DOJ, lawyers and protesters to break down their doors.

If you somehow think it's a good idea to key high school and middle school kids choose their restrooms of choice you are a jackass beyond hope

Someone obviously does not have a daughter.

Your last sentence is pure bullshit.

The whole point about this nonsense is that it ALLOWS for total ambiguity surrounding what "sex" is. Male and Female is no longer allowed (BIGOT!)- these people want to break sex down into roughly 20 sub groups.

Under their definition, there is literally no way to "prove" if someone is really a subgroup of being transgender or not. If a guy walks into a women's restroom, he can simply claim that he's been "identifying" as a woman internally for a long time, and now he simply had the "right" to act upon it. How do you disprove an "internal identification"?

god thats such a poor extreme overreaction. If a school - which knows its students - is notified of some kid going into the girl's bathroom or visa versa, then he will likely be kicked out/suspended. If they try to go to the media with no history or evidence of being a transgender individual then the media wont bite either. And if they do it would be squashed and turned into public shame for the hoax.

Are you sure about that? There is no real qualification for being transgender. So now you're going to have a principal decide if you're really transgender or not? I don't really care if a true transgender kid whats to use the appropriate bathroom, but there at least needs to be paperwork filed from a doctor and held at the school certifying him as transgender.

People need to get off the rhetoric surrounding whether a 10 year old MacBeth can ask the question "To dick or not to dick?" and focus on what really matters. The fact is that the executive, without any input from the legislative branch, solely because the executive distrusts the legislative branch's willingness to agree with him, has unilaterally imposed a multibillion dollar tax on the American people. That is what is going on here. It will take billions to retrofit old buildings like schools to get in compliance and meet the balancing demands of the electorate(parents). The Left screams at harpie pitch about the underfunding of schools, but they are going to make schools spend billions on bathrooms on the premise that someday, some one single kid MIGHT feel the need to use a multigender bathroom when in reality the only people who are going to use it are the Vice Principal after his morning coffee and Mouth after the chili burrito at lunch. And the justification and authority for all of this is all based on the legal opinion of a handful of radical lawyers that "we might abuse our power and sue you if you don't comply with our personal whim." They aren't accountable nor do they have the experience to understand how the implementation of their rhetoric is going to take books out of the hands of kids and lunches out their mouths. The money has to come from somewhere and state and local school districts, which are dominated by Republicans, aren't going to raise taxes to do it. They just won't. Our system was created to stop this crap. Normally, I would think these people are just floating political demands through public discourse as a method of raising money for November. That is usually what this stuff is really all about. I never believed the "America Is Broken" arguments on both sides or the thinly veiled racism of the right's rhetoric about returning to a "Constitutional Republic" until now.

America is broken folks. The executive can impose taxation and will sue you or jail you if you do not comply. Think about that the next time you smile, salute the flag, and pretend you are free.

While I'm on team NoH8, HuffyCane presents interesting points about how the Feds went about this. The ends dont always justify the means....and since the USA isn't a monarchy, our head of state cant just do what he wants.
Plus, ask yourselves: While we're all arguing over bathrooms, what is our gov't REALLY passing?

Obama had no plan on working with the congress. He complains about a do nothing congress because it does not do what he wants it to do. I've said this before and I'll say it again, Obama will end up being the worse president in US history and that is saying something. He abuses his power, could care less about the constitution yet all along you will have idiots who idolize him because he is black and he speaks well. That is racist in its own right.

Well, maybe Congress can try and DO Something, like pass a law. The only reason Obama is doing whatever he wants is because there is no Congress.
BTW, I would like to see SCOTUS kill Obamacare just to see Congress try to come up with a replacement

Obama has vetoed less bills than any full-term president since Abraham Lincoln, Copernicus.

Congress doesn't waste time voting on laws because they know Nobama will veto them, Copernicus. He is the no man. Unless it fits as a feather in his legacy hat he wants no part of it. He only cares about himself and how he'll look in history books. Absolutely zero compromise after mandates repudiating his agenda the last six years.

I present you with an easily verifiable fact. You ignore the fact, and choose to believe what you want in defiance of the fact.
How is the president with the least amount of vetoes since Abraham Lincoln still "the no man" in your halfwit mind?

This is, of course, completely representive of the Republican party today. Facts don't matter. Believe whatever you want, even if it is in defiance of facts and scientific law. It doesn't matter, the mindless sheep in their trailer parks will believe you anyway.

Lol. Congress has voted on the least amount of laws in decades. That is a fact. Nobama vetoes everything that comes to his desk from the GOP Congress, minus TPP. That is a fact. It only takes one post for you to turn to insults. That just shows how uneducated you are. It makes sense you had to cheat to make it through UCF. You're incapable of having a civil debate. The first counterpoint and you start stomping your feet and throw a temper tantrum and name call. You act like a toddler, grow up.

Isn't Obummer the first 2 term president to not have a 3% GDP growth while in office. This while adding more to the national debt than all other presidents combined.

Or couldn't he?

I know you're a dolt, but a President can only veto legislation that was passed and put on his desk for signature or veto.

The point Bob is correctly making is that Congress has long realized that passing such legislation is utterly pointless when Obama comes out as soon as discussion starts and vows to veto anything that doesn't fit his ideology.

He has all but just done the exact same thing on recently passed House Armed Forces Authorization Bill which passed with broad bipartisan support. He's on record ALREADY saying he'll kill it. Why then would the Senate even take up that bill?

You deserve to be insulted for insisting that X is true, when it is proven that (NOT)X is true.

Obama has vetoed less than 1% of the bills that have come to his desk, and you still state "Nobama vetoes everything that comes to his desk." You have a strange definition of the word "fact."

Actually, many Americans hope Congress (and/or State Legislatures) would do just the opposite...i.e. don't pass anything...because odds are...every law they pass is just a payback to lobbyist groups to those that can either make $$$ (usually at the expense of tax payers) and/or help secure future votes for said party.

Same thing for Executive Orders...someone is going to make $$$ (at expense of tax payers) and/or said party did it as a way to secure future votes.

I never said he didn't have a low veto rate. Please share where I said that. I provided the reason it is so low. Again, you are awful at having an argument. I could have a more productive debate with frogerz and effers four year old.
