People need to get off the rhetoric surrounding whether a 10 year old MacBeth can ask the question "To dick or not to dick?" and focus on what really matters. The fact is that the executive, without any input from the legislative branch, solely because the executive distrusts the legislative branch's willingness to agree with him, has unilaterally imposed a multibillion dollar tax on the American people. That is what is going on here. It will take billions to retrofit old buildings like schools to get in compliance and meet the balancing demands of the electorate(parents). The Left screams at harpie pitch about the underfunding of schools, but they are going to make schools spend billions on bathrooms on the premise that someday, some one single kid MIGHT feel the need to use a multigender bathroom when in reality the only people who are going to use it are the Vice Principal after his morning coffee and Mouth after the chili burrito at lunch. And the justification and authority for all of this is all based on the legal opinion of a handful of radical lawyers that "we might abuse our power and sue you if you don't comply with our personal whim." They aren't accountable nor do they have the experience to understand how the implementation of their rhetoric is going to take books out of the hands of kids and lunches out their mouths. The money has to come from somewhere and state and local school districts, which are dominated by Republicans, aren't going to raise taxes to do it. They just won't. Our system was created to stop this crap. Normally, I would think these people are just floating political demands through public discourse as a method of raising money for November. That is usually what this stuff is really all about. I never believed the "America Is Broken" arguments on both sides or the thinly veiled racism of the right's rhetoric about returning to a "Constitutional Republic" until now.
America is broken folks. The executive can impose taxation and will sue you or jail you if you do not comply. Think about that the next time you smile, salute the flag, and pretend you are free.
